So my buddy Krysta asked for assistance on her Nutrition class. I agreed because we both plan on being nutrition/food science majors. With that in mind, she informed me she needed help on altering a recipe and “doctoring it up.” So, with that, we began. We searched up alternative and substitutes for ingredients, we baked a few test runs (eight different batter alterations), and finally came up with this: Prune Berry Cheesecake.
I’m so happy for her though because now she’s gets to have her stuff acknowledged. All that work she went through was worth it I’d say. and although we were getting tired of all the failed attempts, when we took a bite of this one, I was pretty happy. I was actually really really pleased!
I can’t wait to take these kind of classes myself and undergo my own personal project. Hell, that little Chocolate Ganache Torte that I started making for my family was a personal project we made up, and I was happy with that turn out, and this just adds on to our list of successful creations. This is probably the best feeling I had though. Because people can actually check it out.
